Located just a short drive from Bruton Smith Boulevard (I-85, exit 49), Yates Family Camping at Charlotte is a pleasant walk to turn two of America’s premier race venue, Charlotte Motor Speedway (World Cart Racing, zMAX Drag Way, The Dirt Track and Auto Fairs).
Conveniently located to numerous attractions, our campground is a quick drive to Concord Mills (a shopper’s Mecca with Bass Pro Shop). Being situated in the heart of Race Country, you will find plenty of Race shop tours and museums. Uptown Charlotte is virtually a straight drive from our street and Verizon Amphitheatre and UNCC are at our back door. Yates Family Camping is a quiet oasis in the midst of a vibrant area. Just off the beaten path, large open spaces surround us permitting fantastic sunrises and sunsets. We live on the premises and are here to ensure you have a great camping experience.
Forty-four sites are available with electric & water hook-ups on level gravel pads with lush grassy areas. Of these, 20 are equipped with full hook-ups. All sites are easily accessilbe. We are a Good Sams Campground and a North Carolina Family Campers And RVers member.
