1 lb bag Pinto Beans

1 lb lean Hamburger Meat

1 medium Sweet Onion chopped

2 tablespoons Margarine

1 -14.5 oz can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes

1 -8 oz can Tomato Sauce

1 -4 oz can Fire Roasted Diced Green Chiles

3 tablespoons Dark Chili Powder

1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (use more if you like it hot!)

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Cheddar Cheese and Sour Cream to garnish

Rinse beans. Soak in warm water for 4 hours changing water often. Cover beans with water and cook  in crock pot for 12 hours on low. Drain liquid. Use about 3/4 of the beans for chili and save the rest for future use. Cook onion in margarine until opaque. Cook and drain hamburger meat. Mix all ingredients together and cook on low in crock pot for 6 hours. Garnish with cheddar cheese and sour cream. This is a great weekend meal. Start soaking the beans at super time and cook the beans while you sleep. The next day, combine all the ingredients before lunch and it will be ready to serve for dinner.
