HASH BROWN CASSEROLE

 

 

1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed

 

1/2 cup melted butter

 

1 can condensed cream of chicken soup

 

1 pint sour cream

 

1/2 cup chopped onions

 

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

 

1 teaspoon salt

 

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

 

1 teaspoon Slap yo Mamma spice

 

1 teaspoon Hot Sauce

 

Topping:

 

2 cups cheese bread crumbs

 

1/4 cup melted butter

 

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine all ingredients except Hash Browns and topping ingredients. Mix in Hash Browns. Place mixture in a 3 quart casserole dish.

3. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Spread on top.

4. Bake covered for 40 minutes. Remove foil, place dish on top rack and toast bread crumbs until lightly browned.
